New route to Paya Terubong Hill explored again

When there is a new route to venture into, there is never giving up until it is fully explored. Today, Sam and Felix for the first time took the single track up to the peak of Nan Shan Hill to view the splendid panoramic scenery of the Penang second bridge which is under construction.

The view of the Penang International Airport is in full from where we were standing. What a great view!

"Bicycle is for cycling. not pushing" but then again.....

It was a discovery day again, as usual the whole gang was a little bit moody about going about the same route again and again. So, we decided to try out another single track path which will eventually led us to the edge of Paya Terubong hill.

After our short rest at Makissa Plantation at Nan Shan, we tried out of new route, well, of course after slurping up some juicy Makissa fruit along the way. Anyway, we had a good excuse, we were waiting for KS Yeoh to arrive.

The route was demanding for a few of our seasoned cyclists, they rather push the bicycle almost all the way, but then again, safety comes first.

Guess who pushed? Hehehe. Here are some photos for all to enjoy:-

Ride to 1002 Step Temple on Goddess of Mercy's birthday

The weather was great, the skies were blue almost without clouds. In short, a beautiful morning. Last night, there were showers and strong winds throughout the night, making the forest around Ayer Itam looked so fresh and green.

The purpose of our ride to 1002 Step Temple (Cheng Ji Chan) was to ask for blessing for everything good from Goddess of Mercy or "Hoot Choh Ma" in Hokkien.

Here are some photos:-

Goh, absent from cycling for the past one month. Great to have him back.
