Su Su Liam Liam......

It started with a "softcore" ride to Cheng Ji Chan, near Ayer Itam Dam which grew into a full blown hardcore ride, including a bicycle piggy back up a 220 stair way from the temple to a Tua Pek Kong shrine. It is almost a vertical climb with our MTB.

I thought that would drain some energy from our team mates, but no, they still want more, so we decided to burn more fat with a ride up to Tai Seong Loh Kun and that's a no joke ride.

For the first time, Kwan, Yeoh and Khaw successfully made it to another Tua Pek Kong temple and we continued the second part of the trail, eventually ended up at Air Itam Dam.

Unfortunately, Yeoh's chain gave way and was repaired by Yong within half an hour.

This is probably one of the toughest route we rode.

Ok, the choice of song for the video above has nothing to do with the content of the video. It was just that Sam and Kwan were singing the chorus of the song reflecting the agony of carrying their MTBs on a vertical climb to reach the Tua Pek Kong shrine.

Looking energetic, Sam proposed the next ride...looks like it is going to be a real tough ride.

This is what our "Ironman" Khaw has to say about the piggy back session from Cheng Ji Chan to Tua Pek kong shrine.

Sam saying some prayers for team mates, as always. Thank you Sam.
