Fantastic Mt. Erskine ride with G Club

Talking about social media and its power of finding friends with the same interest. Early in the week, I checked the G Club FB and found Kenny's post about cycling Mt Erskine which I longed to do, but did not have the slightest clue how the route looked like.

So, after reading Kenny's post and comments from his FB friends, I checked some of the youtube videos about the downhill ride and those videos really looked scary with those huge jumps and sharp corners. But then again, I was not going to imitate those moves and definitely not going to encourage of team mates to take those risks. Maybe with more rides, extra protective gears and probably this will help a lot, a full suspension MTB, I will then consider going fast downhill. But that will probably take years from now..LOL

I rounded up a few of our "brave tahan mati" members (Kwan, Yeap, Yong) and joined G Club members for this challenging route. Here are some of the photos taken by "Captain Ronnie" during this ride.

Somewhere in the middle of the ride, we were looking at the quarry.

Behind the Mt Erskine market, ample parking space here.
