A solo ride to Tai Siong Loh Kun Temple

Nothing could have prepared me for this ride. The cement path towards the temple was really extremely steep and at some sections the angle can be a mind boggling 65 degrees. Conquering this route will be my ultimate aim. Here are some photos and videos, see how steep the path is:-

  1. Really no joke, can hear your breathing heavily and rapidly from the video you recorded. It is quite tough to climb up instead of riding up by bicycle, you are really " Ti Teng KA".
I remember 16 years ago me and Ronne used to climb up with family during Sunday morning, the temple do offer fried Mee hoon also Ang Tow T'ng haha those are the day...

  2. Sam, I stopped 3 times and the road condition made it even more difficult to ride. The road surface was done this way to get maximum traction for motorcycle, but very tedious for us to cycle up. I think we should all try it, but should not be shy to push up if unable to right. And you are right to say that the temple and it's view is breath taking.
