Wet CFAL 2011 and Lucky Goh

It was a wet, wet ride this morning for those who participated in the CFAL 2011. It rained heavily all the way and cyclists only managed to enjoy a late morning sunshine towards the end of the route. Overall, the whole ride was simply great for me as it was rather fun than everything else. Due to the heavy rain, we did not manage to take any photos.

I believed that our team was well prepared for the 80km ride as we have cycled averagely long and hard climb rides for the past several weekends. Everyone reached the finish line in the average 4 hours. Well done, team Penang CBCBC!!!

The team enjoyed the event very much despite the heavy downpour and I am sure everyone is looking forward for the next CFAL, hopefully in 2012. And it is for sure that Goh will join without fail as he grabbed a MTB in the lucky draw.

Goh's prize MTB, a Raleigh Elite Pro worth RM 2,000.00 Congratulations bro!!!

More videos to be uploaded soon, stay tuned!!!

  2. Ya Kwan it's a fun ride, more than 3,000 cyclists braved early morning showers to ride 82 km round Penang Island. Although this is already the third time of campaign but is our 1st time in this CFAL event , haha I think we all really have a great time. It is optimistic that our CM Ah Eng said the state plans to construct the bicycle lane along the coast from the 2nd Penang bridge in Batu Maung to Teluk Bahang, syok liau la !

  3. Correct correct correct Captain !
Probably Ah GOH is the 1st one to register for CFAL 2012. What a pity that some of our member not able to join, like Simon injured his finger; Ah Yeoh too late to register; our lover boys Ronne & Roger; BK...haha our Hia Ti Barry !

  4. In brief Big thanks to your great effort on the arrangement of training for the past several weekend. Our team mate are so well prepared both mentally and physically. If not it's no jokes to complete the 82 km, especially journey after Teluk Kumpar and Balik Pulau uphill can see quite a few of cyclist so tired and exhausted.....again many thanks Captain Jimmy !!!

  5. Hi guys, I heard from cyclists at pink bike yesterday that this is the last cfal ride. So, it is kind of sad if this is true. I think the cyclists nationwide will be quite devastated.
