Chu Bi Chu Bi "Mini Kayuh Lasak"

When we reached the foothill of nan Shan this morning, dark clouds were hanging over our heads. We were looking at each other whether to proceed with the climb or go to another destination further down towards north where the skies were clearer. But before we could decide, Kok pointed out it has started to rain at the hill top.

We could actually hear the roar of the rain rushing down on us. We decided to take shelter at HsinChu Kopitiam, just a few hundred meters away. Before we could settle down at the coffee shop, the heavy rain poured down like dogs and cats.

Nevertheless, the rain stopped as we expected and we continued our journey up Nan Shan Hill. What a beautiful sight and the air was really refreshing after the rain.

This was Guan's 1st ride up to Nan Shan and he was quite relieved to try out this hill. I believe he is also much more confident with steep climbs since Kok has adjusted the height of his seat.

As for me, I have reached my quota of 62 rides up to this hill for 2011.

Here are some photos taken during this ride. Enjoy!!
